We all know that the economy is tough, and there are too many desperate people in our fair city.
Streetknit helps, by knitting warm blankets, socks, and mittens for homeless people.
This program has a new location in our community - Annette Street Public Library, on
Thursday evenings, 6:15 - 8:15 pm.
Wool and needles are provided - instruction too, for non-knitters who want to learn.
Volunteer hours for high school students!
Thanks very much,
Pam
